Our neighborhood is more than an on-ramp to 395. Our streets and intersections should be safe for kids and adults to walk, bike, and cross. When cars from other neighborhoods and states fly down our streets or go the wrong way, they should be held accountable.

We see the National Guard walking on our street multiple times a day and we almost never see Metro officers get out of their cars. The best way to prevent package theft, car jackings, and violent crime is for well-trained police officers to be present and engaged in our community.

The city should help keep our neighborhood clean and welcoming. We need more trash cans for neighbors walking their dogs or just walking, faster service times for street and sidewalk repair, and real action on the rat problem.
